MATERIAL SURFACES
Powder coating:
Our standard:- Colour: Based on RAL 7032 (pebble grey)
- Surface: Silk gloss
- Average layer thickness: 30–60 μm (layer thickness required for a scratch- and impact-resistant surface)
- Temperature range: -60°C to +120°C
- No impairment of appearance is to be expected at temperatures up to +80°C.
- Indoor use: Visually opaque coating (temporary corrosion protection)
Other colours are available on request:
- Costs for different powder coating: 10% of the gross price of the components to be coated (subject to availability of the colour)
- Dampers and slides are excluded. The following additional costs apply:
- 25,00 € per component without drive
- 40,00 € per component with drive
- Additional one-off set-up costs per colour application: 45.00 € net.
- Products generally excluded from powder coating:
- Plexiglas pipes, blind covers for clamping ring connections, perforated grilles, additional air covers and throttles, clamping rings and pipe clamps.
- Plexiglas pipes, blind covers for clamping ring connections, perforated grilles, additional air covers and throttles, clamping rings and pipe clamps.
Galvanisation:
Hot-dip galvanisation:
- Advantages over powder coating:
- Better protection against corrosion (ensures corrosion protection throughout the entire service life)
- Excellent resistance to atmospheric stress
- Better protection against corrosion (ensures corrosion protection throughout the entire service life)
- Process: According to DIN EN ISO 1461
- Temperature resistance: max. 200°C (continuous max. 150°C recommended).
- Surface: Galvanising process may result in colour and structure irregularities.
- Area of application: Primarily for components with moving parts
- Average layer thickness: approx. 10 μm
- Temperature resistance: max. 120°C (max. 80°C recommended for continuous use).
Stainless steel-blasting:
- Implementation: In an overhead conveyor blasting system (automatic)
- Process: Treatment on all sides using spherical stainless steel blasting media.
- Objective: Surface finishing to achieve a uniform and ferrite-free structure for optimum workpiece appearance.
- Roughness: approx. Ra 1.3 μm
- Temperature resistance: max. 550°C
TOLERANCES
- Pipe diameter and roundness: DIN EN 10296-1
- Lips: 6 mm ± 1 mm
- Length and angle dimensions: DIN ISO 2768 Part 1, tolerance class v,
angle tolerance ± 1°
The sheet thickness may change in drawn or ground components.
USE OF CONNECTING ELEMENTS
- Our recommendation: Clamping rings DN 80 – 300 | Flanges DN 315 – 710
- Clamping rings with sealing compound: Gravity bulk material conveying and ventilation systems without special requirements for tightness and durability of the connection.
- Clamping rings for sealing rings: bulk material conveyance and ventilation systems
- Flanges: bulk material conveyance and ventilation systems with special requirements, especially for larger diameters.
SPECIAL CLIMATIC CONDITIONS
Components for use outside temperate, continental climate zones are available on request.
